Melissa L. Burns, CPA

Mrs. Burns brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in financial management and organizational operations, working with private entrepreneurs whose businesses ranged in value from $20 million to $50 million. She began her career with The Home Depot before transitioning to the private sector, where she spent much of her career supporting organizations in the construction and property management industries.

Since joining Trinity in 2020 as Controller, Mrs. Burns has played an integral role in strengthening the institution's financial and administrative operations. She was promoted to Chief Financial Officer in 2023 and now serves as Chief Administrative Officer and Treasurer, overseeing key administrative functions that support Trinity's mission and long-term strategic growth.

Mrs. Burns holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from University of South Florida and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the State of Georgia.
