Dr. Akcayli serves as the Director of Global Pathways and Assistant Professor of Behavioral Science. A proud Trinity alumna, she began her clinical career at the Princess Margaret Hospital in Nassau, Bahamas, and is a registered clinician in St. Vincent and Switzerland. She served as the island doctor in Mustique for several yearsproviding comprehensive care to a diverse population. Dr. Akcayli actively leads a range of community health and charity initiatives across St. Vincent, working closely with localstakeholders and students, she organizes and participates in mobile clinics, school health screenings, chronic disease management programs, and public health education campaigns. Dr. Akcayli also plays an active role in the Introduction to Clinical and Community Medicine program.
