Trinity’s Online Pre-Med Pathway is designed for students who need a flexible, accessible route to medical school. Whether you're a working professional balancing a career, an adult learner returning to the classroom, military personnel on the move, or someone unable to relocate, this asynchronous program allows you to complete your pre-med requirements on your own schedule.
With faculty support, a clearly defined academic plan, and the ability to move through coursework at a pace that fits your life, you’ll build the foundational knowledge needed to enter Trinity’s MD program—without putting your current commitments on hold.

Pre-Med Curriculum
The following Pre-Med curriculum ensures students complete the necessary courses required for admission into our MD program. The online Pre-Med Pathway includes a max of two terms depending on the required prerequisites the student has yet to take.
Pre Requisite Courses Available Online:
- General Chemistry I
- General Biology I
- English I
- Behavioral Science
- College-Level Mathematics or Statistics
- General Chemistry II
- General Biology II
- English II
- Physics I
Transition to MD Program
The online, asynchronous Pre-Med to MD Pathway is designed for students who are passionate about becoming physicians but still need to complete the prerequisite coursework required for entry into an MD program.
- Eligibility:
- Successful completion of undergraduate requirements.
- MCAT Requirement:
- Required for US citizens and permanent residents.
- Not required for Canadian or other international applicants.
Tuition and Fees
Our online, asynchronous Pre-Med to MD pathway offers an affordable option for aspiring medical professionals. We are committed to providing quality education and support, ensuring that financial constraints do not hinder your path to a successful medical career.
- Tuition: $400 per credit hour.
- Admin Fees: $475 per term.
- Technology Fees: $100 per term.
- Course Materials: $25 per credit hour.
- One Time Fees: $50 (application fee), $500 (commitment deposit).

Tuition Refunds
At Trinity School of Medicine, we are committed to supporting students throughout their academic journey while ensuring transparency in our policies. In the case of withdrawal, a refund may be available to help students plan for unforeseen circumstances.
- Before Term Start: Full credit for tuition (less $500 commitment deposit) and fees.
- During 1st Week: Full credit for tuition (less $500 commitment deposit), prorated credits for fees.
- After Week 1: No credits for tuition or fees.
