Students entering their initial term at Trinity School of Medicine will be provided with a list of required and recommended texts. Students should budget $750 to $975 for first term textbooks. 

Clinical Attire and Medical Kits

Clinical attire, consisting of lab jackets, scrubs, dissection kits and patient examination kits will be required during the basic sciences terms. You should budget a total of $1500 for these items which can be purchased in advance of your arrival in St. Vincent.

Health Insurance

Health insurance is mandatory while students are enrolled at Trinity School of Medicine. Insurance costs are currently $660 per term per student and coverage is provided by World of America Global Partners (WOA). The plan covers students on a worldwide basis. Dependent Coverage as well as Dental and Vision Coverages are available for additional fees. 


Trinity offers clean and comfortable residence halls on campus and near campus. Students are required to live in campus housing during the basic science terms (terms I through V). Trinity will consider requests for students to secure alternative housing to accommodate special needs. Trinity maintains a list of off campus residential quarters that satisfy Trinity housing standards. Costs of Trinity's on and off campus residences range from $700 to $950 per month depending on amenities and location.

Food and entertainment is estimated to cost approximately $2000 to $2500 per term.
