Trinity School of Medicine Admission Requirements


Undergraduate Credit Hours
A minimum of 90 credit hours (or equivalent) from a regionally accredited undergraduate institution and the completion of the required courses below prior to matriculation.

Required Courses
  1. Biology - one academic year with laboratory experience. Advanced placement credits cannot be used to satisfy this requirement; upper level courses should be taken if granted advance placement credits.
  2. General/Inorganic Chemistry with Lab – one academic year.
  3. Organic Chemistry with Lab - one academic year. A semester of biochemistry (with or without lab) may substitute for the 2nd semester of organic chemistry.
  4. Physics* - one academic year of general physics. Advance placement credit may be used to satisfy one semester of the physics requirement.
  5. Mathematics – one semester of college level mathematics, calculus or bio statistics highly recommended.
  6. English – any non-science courses that involve substantial experience in expository writing will satisfy this requirement.
* Exceptions will be considered on an individual basis.
