Senior MD students, Crystal Shaw and Sarah Theart were selected to partipate in the Jimmy and Rosalyn Carter Work Project for Habitat for Humanity. From Nov. 5 to Nov. 12, 2011 by assisting the Physicians in the Medical Corp at the build site.

The SafeSurg Checklist was designed by Harvard School of Medicine in conjunction with the World Health Organization to increase safety, efficiency and accountability in the surgical theater, and is now being implemented in hospitals all across the globe.
